Pilates Sessions

Bookings & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all Pilates sessions, including Reformer, Mat classes, 1:1 sessions, 2:1 sessions, and group classes.

Pay As You Go Sessions

  • Pay As You Go sessions (including 1:1, 2:1 and group classes) are booked and paid for in full at the time of booking via the website
    • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received

Cancellations & Changes

  • Sessions are non-refundable
    • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking
    • We ask for 48 hours’ notice, as cancellations made within this timeframe cannot be refunded or rescheduled

Block Bookings

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Block bookings are offered as a discounted package of 6 sessions
    • All block bookings must be paid for in advance to secure the discounted rate
    • Block bookings are intended to reserve a regular, fixed time slot

Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session
    • For 2-to-1 bookings, the session fee covers the full reserved time slot. If one participant is unable to attend, the full session amount remains payable

Late Cancellations

  • Sessions cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable
    • Late-cancelled sessions cannot be rescheduled unless the booking is filled by another client

 

 

Terms of Business

Pilates Studio – Online, Home Studio & External Venue Sessions

These Terms of Business apply to all Pilates sessions provided online, at the home studio, outdoors, in hired halls, event spaces, beaches, or any other venue where sessions are delivered. By booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.

  1. Bookings & Payment

All sessions must be booked in advance through the website or agreed booking system.

  • Pay As You Go sessions must be paid for in full at the time of booking
    • Block bookings must be paid for in advance to secure the discounted rate
    • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received
  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

The full Bookings & Cancellation Policy applies and forms part of these Terms of Business.

In summary:

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session
    • Sessions cancelled within 48 hours are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled, unless the space is filled by another client.
    • Block booking sessions are intended to be booked as regular, fixed weekly slots
  1. Health, Medical & Fitness Responsibility

Pilates involves physical movement and exercise. By booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You are physically able to take part in Pilates sessions
    • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or changes in health before your session
    • You will inform the instructor immediately if anything changes

If you are unsure whether Pilates is suitable for you, it is your responsibility to seek medical advice before participating.

  1. Participation & Safety

You agree to:

  • Follow instructions given during sessions
    • Work within your own comfort, limits, and ability
    • Stop and inform the instructor if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort

The instructor reserves the right to:

  • Modify or stop an exercise for safety reasons
    • Decline participation if a session is deemed unsafe
  1. Online Sessions

For online sessions, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have adequate space, a stable internet connection, and suitable equipment
    • Creating a safe environment free from hazards

The instructor is not responsible for injuries caused by an unsafe setup or failure to follow guidance during online sessions.

  1. External Venues & Outdoor Sessions

Sessions delivered outdoors, on beaches, in parks, halls, event spaces, or other hired venues are subject to environmental conditions beyond the instructor’s control.

Participants acknowledge that:

  • Outdoor surfaces may be uneven or affected by weather
    • Weather conditions may vary and impact comfort or safety
    • Public spaces may contain hazards outside the instructor’s control

You participate in these sessions at your own risk and agree to exercise appropriate personal judgement and care.

Sessions may be relocated, postponed, or cancelled where safety is affected by weather or venue-related factors. Where this occurs, an alternative date or credit will be offered.

  1. Home Studio Sessions

For sessions held at the home studio:

  • Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may shorten your session
    • Only the booked participant(s) may attend unless agreed in advance
    • You must respect the home studio environment
  1. Liability

Pilates sessions are undertaken at your own risk.

While every effort is made to ensure sessions are safe and appropriate:

  • The instructor is not liable for injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions
    • The instructor is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions
    • The instructor’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by UK law

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  1. Personal Belongings

Personal belongings are brought to sessions at your own risk.
The studio accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.

  1. Changes to Sessions

Sessions may occasionally need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Where this happens, clients will be offered an alternative date or a credit.

  1. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal information is handled in line with UK data protection legislation.
Information is used only for booking, communication, and service provision and is not shared without consent.

  1. Agreement

By booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms of Business
    • You agree to comply with them
    • You accept responsibility for your own health and participation
